Winegard Makes TV Converter
Winegard Company, which makes TV reception products for RVs, is offering a converter box that will enable analog television sets to continue to receive television signals when local broadcast stations switch entirely to a digital television format.
All TV stations in the U.S. will abandon analog broadcasts on February 17 of next year. This will require consumers who receive TV signals through over-the-air antennas to buy a digital TV or a converter box. The federal government is providing $40 coupons for converter boxes.
Winegard is selling two kinds of converter boxes, one for regular TVs and one with a tuner for high-definition TVs. The non-HD box costs less than $20 when purchased with the help of a $40 government coupon.
Winegard and Camping World have partnered to provide free TV evaluations at Camping World stores. The evaluation involves a technician walking through the RV to determine which, if any, products are needed for the transition to digital TV. The converter box can then be purchased for $19.99 or installed for $39.99.

For boats, Meguiars has created the M9424 Ultimate Detailer, which is a spray and wipe product to remove dirt, grime and water spots while adding a gloss. It is designed to be used between wax applications and is suitable for use on gel coat, metal, lacquered woodwork and clear plastic.
