The Fort Bragg Whale Festival celebrates the Gray Whale migration from Baja California to Alaska. Fort Bragg celebrates the migration with whale charter boat trips to see the whales, nature walks, guided tours, a beer tasting of regional microbrews, a chowder tasting, Whales on Parade, a classic car show and much more fun!

Directions Mendocino is 4 hours north of San Francisco. Take Hwy 101 to Hwy 128 West in Cloverdale. Then take 128 to Scenic Hwy 1, the coastal highway North another 20 minutes. Fort Bragg is 10 minutes North on Hwy 1. The Mendocino Whale and Wine Festival is always the first weekend in March and the Fort Bragg Whale Festival is in the third week of March.
Times: Chowder: 11am to 1pm Beer: Noon to 4pm Whale Watching: All Day Long
Admission & Parking: Charge for Beer Tasting and Chowder Tasting, Free Parking
