Arctic Fox Silver Fox Edition
The all-new 32-5M Silver Fox Edition is a triple slide floor plan that brings new refinements and innovations to the popular Arctic Fox fifth wheel lineup from Northwood Manufacturing, a company known for producing high-quality RVs with four-season livability.

The 32-5M features a lab-tested and certified structural steel chassis with a cavernous pass-through storage compartment as well as a generator-ready compartment. An exterior convenience center puts everything at your fingertips, including electric dump valves for gray and black water tanks. The striking aerodynamically designed front cap has recessed corners engineered for extreme turning ability.

Inside the 32-5M Silver Fox is a residential-style interior with E-Stone countertops, antique glazed High Valley Maple cabinetry and double-pane skylights in both the living room and bedroom. It also includes a spacious side-aisle bathroom with a walk-in shower. The bedroom holds Northwood’s exclusive Tru-Rest king-sized memory foam mattress and an Ultra-Deck sleep system for an outstanding night’s rest.

As always, the Silver Fox is designed for four-season use, and Northwood has built the 32-5M with visible quality and all the enhancements requested by fifth wheel buyers. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for this model has not yet been set.

Era Motorhome
Winnebago Industries has brought back the Class B Era motorhome for 2012 after dropping it from its lineup for a year. The new Era is built on the fuel-efficient Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis with a turbo-diesel Mercedes-Benz engine.

At the front of the Era, two Ultraleather cab seats swivel to face two companion seats across a movable pedestal table that can be used for dining.  The companion seats can be removed via a quick-release lever when more cargo space is needed.  Or if the buyer prefers, the companion chair behind the driver’s seat can be replaced with a removable wardrobe for additional storage space.

At the rear of the coach is a 70-inch sofa that folds into a 70-inch by 80-inch bed at the press of a button.

Other features in the Era include a 22-inch LED HDTV that extends and swivels so it can be viewed from the front or rear of the coach. The Era also contains a fully equipped galley and efficient bathroom and can be ordered with a cab infotainment center that includes a GPS, voice guidance, CD/DVD and a seven-inch touch screen.

The Era is one of a series of Sprinter-based motorhomes offered by Winnebago, including both Class A and Class C models.  The coaches claim an average of 15 to 19 miles per gallon. The Era carries an MSRP of $94,093.

EverGreen i-Go Lite
EverGreen Recreational Vehicles, which builds travel trailers and fifth wheels with composite materials, has introduced a new line of RVs that are lighter, more affordable and only partially constructed with composites.

Called the i-Go Lite, the new trailers are built with composite materials on the inner shell, but have a fiberglass reinforced exterior skin. Doug Lantz, president and chief operating officer of EverGreen, said limiting the use of composites has enabled the company to reduce the price.

The i-Go travel trailers are currently available in four floor plans, and all are under 27 feet in length and weigh less than 5,000 pounds. The lowest MSRP is $22,492.

Like other EverGreen RVs, the i-Go Lites are crafted with aluminum-framed, vacuum laminated processes.  Using composites on the inner shell reduces problems of rot, mold and mildew, the company says.

The travel trailers are only seven and a half feet wide for easy towing, but come with extra deep, 42-inch slideouts to provide additional room. The four floor plans currently available include a configuration with an outside kitchen and another that can sleep six. EverGreen eventually plans to offer five floor plans in travel trailers and two in fifth wheels to complete the i-Go Lite series.

Fleetwood Bounder
Fleetwood RV has upgraded the 2012 Bounder with two new floor plans and improved the interior décor with more contemporary styling.

“Bounder has been a household name in the RV industry since its debut in 1985 and is best known for its high-function, no frills features,” said John Draheim, president and CEO of Fleetwood RV. “For 2012, we focused on updating and elevating Bounder so it would appeal to a younger buyer…This is definitely not your grandfather’s Bounder anymore.”

The 2012 Bounder lineup offers four floor plans in lengths of 33 to 35 feet. Three have dual slides and one has a full-wall slideout.  One dual slide has a bath and a half floor plan with a 40-inch Sony LCD TV at mid-ship and an Ultraleather transform-a-sofa. Another floor plan features a large master suite.

Full-body paint and halogen lighting throughout the coach are among the standard features, and so are Sony electronics.  Options available in some floor plans include an electronic fireplace, exterior entertainment center and a king-sized bed.

Infinity Fifth Wheel
Spacious living quarters, residential kitchens and large master bedrooms are the hallmarks of the new Infinity fifth wheels by Dutchmen.

The bedrooms in Infinity fifth wheels have two unique features: a crowned ceiling and a cedar suite walk-in closet. The arched ceiling provides extra headroom, extending to a height of six feet, eight inches. The closets use the full depth of the front cap to create a walk-in area with a cedar-lined wall, shoe racks, shirt closets with drawers, and a large space to hang clothes.

The Infinity is available in nine floor plans with a variety of slideouts and configurations. A central command center groups together interior and exterior light switches, tank monitors, awning controls and a water heater switch.

All the cabinets are constructed of cherry hardwood, and the countertops have a non-porous solid surface. A Samsung entertainment center features a surround sound system, a 40-inch or 32-inch HD LCD TV and an AM/FM/CD/DVD with an iPod input.

Lance 1575 Travel Trailer
The Lance 1575 is an all-new slideout travel trailer designed to meet the needs of owners of small trucks and small SUVs with a towing capacity of at least 3,500 pounds.

The manufacturer notes that the 1575 isn’t a stripped down lightweight product, but has many amenities and all the quality that Lance builds into its other trailer and camper products.  It comes with a double-door refrigerator, three-burner range, queen bed, dry bath, 18,000 BTU furnace and exterior wash station.

The slideout extends the dinette to provide extra room inside. Other features include a dual pane skylight, a CD/DVD stereo with an iPod connection and an enclosed, insulated and heated fresh water tank. The suggested retail price is $20,994.

Redwood RV Fifth Wheel
Redwood RV, which builds fifth wheels for full-time use, has introduced a new floor plan, the 36FL, which adds a movable dinette table that can accommodate six adults.

The model has a front living room with an entertainment center located directly across from the living room chairs for comfortable TV viewing. The entryway has been enlarged for 2012 with a grand staircase and two handrails. Other improvements include an 80-inch sofa, a pull-out desk and a fireplace.  A sliding patio door can be added as a convenient option for customers who park their RV in one area for extended periods of time.

Standard features include rustic cherry hardwood cabinets, a nine-cubic-foot Dometic refrigerator, solid-surface countertops and back splashes, a side-by-side washer and dryer closet, a 13-gallon slideout trashcan, and a large residential pantry with a coffee and toast station.

Redwood builds fifth wheels from 34 to 42 feet in length and offers a two-year limited protection and five-year structural warranty. The MSRP for the 36FL model is $90,237.

Winnebago ONE
For the first time in nearly 30 years, Winnebago, known for its motorhomes, has put its name on a travel trailer with the launch of Winnebago ONE.

Fred Hershberger, national sales manager for Winnebago Industries Towables, said, “As the name implies, Winnebago ONE represents the first in a series of products that will be launched under the Winnebago brand name. One also represents the fact that the affordable, lightweight, all-aluminum framed travel trailer line is full of features that are industry firsts for a towable product.”

The trailers initially will be available in four floor plans, ranging in length from 26 feet to 34 feet. Special features include standard laminated high-gloss gel-coated fiberglass exteriors, a residential style sectional sofa, a hide-away computer tale, interior and exterior convenience centers, expansive countertop space, private bathrooms and memory foam mattresses.
Suggested retail prices range from $22,000 to $27,200.

Winnebago reentered the towable market earlier this year after purchasing the SunnyBrook brand. In addition to Winnebago trailers, the company is building SunnyBrook Sunset Creek travel trailers and SunnyBrook Raven travel trailers and fifth wheels.
