Clip Adjusts Seatbelts
One reason people give for failing to buckle up is that seatbelts cut uncomfortably across the chest or chafe the neck. Now, a simple device lets you adjust the seatbelt for a better fit.

The Master Design seatbelt adjuster is a plastic clip that snaps in place on the lap belt. The shoulder strap slips under the front tongue of the clip, and by sliding the clip, you can move the strap away from your neck to find a more comfortable position.

The clip is designed to release quickly in the event of impact so that the seatbelt restraint system can operate normally.

The adjuster is available at mass merchandisers and auto parts stores. Suggested retail price is $3.99 for a package of two. For information, visit www.seatbeltadjuster.com or call (800) 667-4954.

Remote Offers Quick Starts
Yamaha Motor Corporation has introduced a kit for a remote control system to start generators from up to 75 feet away. The accessory is compatible with previous and current model year EF3000iSE and EF3000iSEB generators.

The touch of a button on a key fob transmitter activates the choke to start the generator. Encoded transmission prevents false operation from other remotes or signals.

Installation requires only a wrench and a Phillips screwdriver. The generator’s wiring harness connects to the start kit and mounts inside the generator using an existing mounting bolt.

The kit, available through Yamaha generator dealers, retails for $430.95. For information, call (800) 88-YAMAHA or visit www.yamaha-motor.com.

RideKing Offers Shocks for RVs
RideKing shock absorbers originally designed for large Class 8 trucks such as Kenworth and Peterbilt are now available for recreational vehicles to improve handling control and riding comfort.
These mono-tube shocks feature an extra large, 2 5/16-inch bore, a 7/8-inch stainless steel hard-chromed piston rod and a spherical rod bearing mounting system. The manufacturer says the shock absorber delivers up to 4,500 pounds of damping force per wheel and lasts up to 350,000 miles. One promised benefit is a tire mileage increase of up to 30 percent.

The shocks are available for $425 each, plus installation and are warranted for as long as the customer owns the vehicle. For information contact Henderson’s Line-Up of Grants Pass, Oregon, by calling (800) 245-8309 or visit www.hendersonslineup.com.
