Bigfoot Launches New Trailer

Bigfoot Industries has expanded its 3000 Series model lineup for 2007 to include upscale travel trailers that appeal to the high-end of the travel trailer market.

The new models have a slideout that extends the dinette and refrigerator section to create an expansive living area. Bigfoot 3000 travel trailers are being offered in two floor plans, one with an overall length of 24 feet, five inches and the other with a length of 28 feet, 11 inches.

Both are designed with Bigfoot’s traditional emphasis on durable construction and heavy insulation for year-round use. The sidewalls, the slideout room and the ceiling all have Bigfoot’s patented Fibercore bonded fiberglass construction. Molded fiberglass front and rear caps and a fiberglass crowned roof create an attractive exterior.

The fresh and wastewater holding tanks are enclosed in a heated and insulated area. The tanks are large—51 gallons for fresh water, 45 gallons for gray water and 42 gallons for black water. The 10-gallon water heater has electronic ignition as a standard feature.

The interior offers ample headroom with a height of six feet, eight inches. The kitchen comes with a three-burner cooktop, a six-cubic-foot refrigerator, cutting board and stainless steel sinks. Venetian blinds in the galley and day/night shades in the living area are among the many standard features.

The trailer is heated by an electronic ignition 30,000 BTU forced air furnace. A 13,500 ceiling ducted BTU air conditioner is one of the options, along with a microwave oven, solar energy systems, stereo CDs and DVDs, and a variety of LCD TVs.

A pass-through basement storage area provides room to store gear, and inside the trailer are lots of cabinets and other storage areas, including drawers under the bed.

The Bigfoot 3000 24-foot model carries a suggested retail base price of $40,495. Suggested retail base price of the 28-foot edition is $47,245.
