Roadmaster Upgrades Brakes
Even Brake is a new supplementary braking system from Roadmaster that makes the application of brakes in a motorhome and towed vehicle smoother by applying brakes on both vehicles at the same time and with the same intensity.
The new portable system, which is easy to transfer from one vehicle to another, transmits complete braking information to a wireless monitor in the motorhome. The monitor shows when the brakes are applied and can alert the driver to any change in the systems status. It also can alert the driver to a low battery in the towed vehicle. The Even Brake has self-diagnostic features to detect any problem, and terrain-sensing circuitry to prohibit the system from overreacting to abrupt dips or jolts caused by speed bumps or potholes. An emergency braking system is included to bring the towed vehicle to a stop if it is ever separated from the motorhome.

Onan Unveils JuiceBox
The Onan JuiceBox, which will be introduced at The Rally at Daytona Beach, Florida, in April, is a self-contained generator that can be attached to a class III frame-mounted hitch receiver of a large towable RV.
Because the JuiceBox consumes no valuable RV storage space, it provides towable RV owners with an economical, reliable alternative to an installed genset, said Mike Kline, marketing manager for Onans towable RV division. He added that the JuiceBox can easily be removed for maintenance, storage, or transfer to another RV.
The JuiceBox houses the Onan genset and starting battery in a plastic clamshell with an electrical panel complete with a 30-amp shore cord outlet and four 20-amp GFI-protected utility outlets, battery charger with status indicator and hour meter. A wireless remote-control starter is included at no extra cost. For information, visit www.funroads.com
