Golf in the Rough
You don’t need a fairway or a putting green to play Ladder Golf. In fact, it can be set up just about anywhere—on grass, dirt, sand or concrete, indoors or outdoors. And it’s light and portable enough to take along on a picnic or a camping trip.

You play the game with bolas, which are two golf balls attached by a nylon rope. Players toss the bolas at a ladder structure with three rungs, trying to wrap the bolas around the rungs to earn points.

Hardwoods are used for the bases of the ladder, and brass inserts to connect the golf balls with nylon rope. The manufacturer describes the ladder rungs as “unbreakable.”

RV Life staff member Toni Davis is among those who have tested and enjoyed the game. “After a year, we still spend hours playing Ladder Golf in the yard,” she says. “It’s perfect for any get-together. Anyone can play it and its portability lets us take it in the RV to enjoy anywhere.”

Kit Improves GM Steering
Lazy steering and premature component and tire wear can be the price of using lift kits and larger offset wheels on some trucks and SUVs. Powder Conquers Mildew
Rhino Hide has developed a stain remover and cleaner to erase mold and mildew and the stains that go with them from surfaces of boats and RVs. The product is called UltraMean-2 Super Power Powder.

The manufacturer says the product is safe for nearly any water washable interior or exterior surface. The oxygenated product is a non-chlorine bleaching agent that won’t harm aluminum or glass. The powder is mixed with water to match the solution’s strength to the difficulty of the stain. UltraMean-2 is sold in various sizes.
