Seven Feathers Features Plush RV Resort

The Seven Feathers RV Resort, which opened last year in southern Oregon, is located amid 23 acres of manicured lawns and lush landscaping near the Seven Feathers Hotel and Casino Resort.
The RV park has all the amenities you could want in a resortan indoor heated pool and spa, a fitness center, a barbecue pavilion, laundry, horseshoe pits, a computer-equipped media center, a restaurant, a market, a gift gallery and a gathering place with a full kitchen and large-screen TV. The resort has 191 RV campsites, all with full hookups. Most are pull-through sites.
Shuttle service takes guests across the street to the hotel and casino. The casino, which opened in 1992 as a bingo hall, has grown to 68,000 square feet of gaming space with all the features of a big Nevada casino1,300 slot machines, table games, poker, bingo and keno. It includes a nonsmoking section.
Seven Feathers offers many entertainment and dining options. The Camas Room provides elegant dinners and a Sunday brunch; the Cow Creek Restaurant is open 24 hours a day, the Scoops Ice Cream Parlor offers ice cream, pizza and sandwiches, and the STIX Sports Bar has 11 TVs and 10 varieties of beer on tap. The Casino Cabaret offers entertainment Tuesdays through Sundays, and hosts karaoke night on Mondays with cash prizes to winners.
Seven Feathers is located off Interstate 5s exit 99 at Canyonville, 25 miles south of Roseburg, in the territory of the Cow Creek Band of the Umpqua Tribe of Indians.
The location is not far from Crater Lake National Park, the Oregon Caves National Monument, the Wildlife Safari wild animal park and the Umpqua Valley Wine Country. Other attractions include covered bridges, antique shops in Canyonville, the Canyonville Pioneer and Indian Museum, and the Myrtle Creek Golf Course.

The Mill Offers Coastal Campsites
Visitors to the Oregon Coast always look forward to the romance of a sunset over the Pacific Ocean, but often it is the coastal sunrise that brings the greatest beauty, mystery and promise to area visitors. Guests waking up at The Mill Casino, Hotel and RV Park get all of that and much more.

Grand Sierra Reopens RV Park
The KOA at the Reno Hilton is now the RV Park at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, offering access to the hotels new restaurants, expanded entertainment and many new features.
The Hilton hotel became the Grand Sierra Resort a year ago. The new owners closed the adjoining KOA park at the end of February, intending to use the site for the construction of residential towers. However, those plans were delayed, and the RV park reopened without the KOA affiliation on May 1, and will remain open for two years.
The park has 178 campsites. Full hookups, with either 50-amp or 30-amp service, are available, along with pull-through sites that can accommodate big rigs.
RVers have access to the hotel pool and many other amenities at the resort, which has Nevadas largest casino north of Las Vegas. The resort includes retail shops, a movie theater, a 50-lane bowling center, and a golf driving range. Construction is scheduled to start this fall on Americas largest indoor water park.
The Grand Sierra Resort and Casino recently announced a partnership with the lifestyle brand Nikki Beach to design and manage entertainment venues. Nikki Beach at Poolside, currently under construction, will feature beach volleyball, a swim-up bar, cocktail service and nightly entertainment. Nikki Beach is also turning the venue previously known as The Garage into what it promises will be Renos sexiest nightclub.
Dolce Enoteca e Ristorante, which serves Italian cuisine, opened recently and new restaurants created by chef Charlie Palmer are scheduled to open this month.
The new Crystal Lounge has replaced the old Aspen Lounge and now offers nightly entertainment. A new wine bar called Reserve is being constructed. Reserve will feature enomatic dispensers for individual wine tasting. There will be 10 enomatic units, which hold eight bottles each. A sommelier will be on staff to introduce, educate and assist in the wine-tasting experience.
The Fun Quest Arcade and Family Fun Center has been renovated with new games, bumper cars, a nine-hole miniature golf course and a climbing structure, called Spider Mountain, for younger guests.

Prizes on Line at Northern Lights
Swinomish Northern Lights Casino and RV Park in Anacortes, Washington, will celebrate its anniversary in July by offering visitors lots of opportunities to win cash and prizes, including a Choose Your Own Adventure promotion offering a chance to pick from a wide array of exciting trips.
Also opening in July will be a new non-smoking slot machine area with more than 150 new games. The Northern Lights casino has hundreds of slot machines along with table games, keno, pull-tabs, bingo, poker and off-track betting.
Northern Lights offers a variety of entertainment, with an emphasis on comedy. Lewis Black, known for his appearances on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Late Night with Conan OBrien will appear June 24, and Carlos Mencia, whose show Mind of Mencia is in its third season on the Comedy Central network, will perform July 13. Danny Vernon, a popular Elvis impersonator, is booked for Aug. 15.
