RVers Find Luxury at Beaudry RV Resort
Visitors to the Beaudry RV Resort and Rally Park in Tucson, Arizona, will find themselves near all sorts of attractionscasinos, golf courses, museums and theme parks. But they wont need to leave the resort to find all the amenities for a relaxing vacation.
The park has a gourmet restaurant, two heated swimming pools, a game room equipped with pool tables, and a fitness/wellness center with state-of-the-art fitness machines.
There are 400 RV pads, with 256 pull-through sites for the convenience of those with large coaches. The hookups are easy to access and offer 30- and 50-amp service. Twenty of the sites have their own private Jacuzzis for extra luxury.
Cable TV is available as a free hookup at the RV sites or in the clubhouse. The RV hookups also include voice and data lines to connect with the Internet and send or receive e-mail. Computer use is available in the lobby without charge.
The resort has a general store for any items that travelers might have forgotten to bring. And, for extra convenience, the resort is situated next to the sales and service lots of Beaudry RV and a Camping World store.
The resorts restaurant, the Beer Bottoms Bistro, serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has a full-service bar.
During the winter, the resort hosts a series of rallies and other special events, including barbecues, a pet show and motorcycle rides. The park will team with Desert Diamond Casino Dec. 9 to 12 for gaming and an evening with Jay Leno. Other events on the schedule include the Fall Riders Bike Festival, Nov. 4-7: the Pet Show Rally, Dec. 2-4; the Big Pig, Jan. 6-8; Desert Rats Festival in Quartzsite, Jan. 9-15; Western Barbecue, Jan. 26-29; Super-Duper Bowl Celebration, Jan. 30; Fiesta de Beaudry RV, March 3-6, and Rally and Ride, March 31-April 3.
The resort location provides easy access to numerous attractions that have given Tucson a growing reputation as a tourist destination. Some of the attractions include:
The Desert Diamond Casino and the Casino of the Sun, both owned by Indian tribes and offering a full range of gaming options.
The Pima Air and Space Museum, which holds a collection of 200 historic aircraft and includes exhibits on space exploration.
The Titan Missile Museum, which offers a glimpse of Cold War history.
Columbia Universitys Biosphere 2, where visitors can take guided tours of the once-sealed enclosure that housed a space experiment of human endurance.
Old Tucson Studios, a family theme park and movie location with daily staged gunfights.
Trail Dust Town, a theme park that began as a Western movie set and includes restaurants, art galleries, a railroad line and an old-fashioned town square.
The Tucson area has a large number of golf courses and offers convenient access to many public recreation areas, including Saguaro National Park.
