Awning Adds Drop Shade
Dometic has added a motor-driven power drop shade to its WeatherPro awning, calling the expanded version the WeatherPro Plus.

The drop shade extends at the touch of a button to the desired length and stays in place thanks to an aluminum bottom runner. An adjustable tie-down strap also helps keep the shade in place. The shade filters out sunlight to reduce glare, but optimizes visibility from within while cutting down on outside-in visibility. When not it use, the shade retracts inside a roller tube.

In both the WeatherPro and WeatherPro Plus, a sensor automatically draws in the awning in sustained winds, and a patented design dumps accumulated rain.

Dometic, which has production facilities in 10 countries, is a leading supplier of products to the RV industry. For information on the WeatherPro Plus, visit www.dometicusa.com or call (574) 294-2511.
