Titan Fifth Wheel Boasts Luxury Features
SunnyBrook RV has introduced a 38-foot floor plan for its Titan Fifth Wheel that includes luxury features usually found only in more expensive models.
The new floor plan, which debuted at the National RV Trade Show in Louisville last month, is the 38 BWQS, which has an exterior length of 38 feet, 8 inches. It is a quad slide model with a separate sitting room or den with comfortable chairs and an entertainment center. The company says the new floor plan is a response to customer demand.
We listened to the discriminating needs of this market and responded with a fifth wheel that affords them the luxuries of a high-end RV without the high price tag, said Elvie Frey, president of SunnyBrook RV.
As equipped at Louisville, the Titan 38 BWQS carried a suggested retail price of $68,000.
What differentiates SunnyBrook RV from many of its competitors, Frey said, is an emphasis on sturdy construction and a policy of using upgraded brand-name products.
SunnyBrook RV builds its Titan fifth wheels on a rugged box steel frame with the ultra-light aluminum superstructure that it pioneered a decade ago. The extensive use of aluminum provides strength while reducing gas consumption.
The underbelly of the Titan is enclosed to keep dust and debris out. Holding tanks and valves are heated and insulated for weather protection. SunnyBrook uses R-11 insulation for the roof and R-7 for the floor and sidewalls.
Standard features include a MOR/ryde suspension system, Dexter Nev-R-Lube axles with sealed bearings, and 5/8-inch tongue-and-groove exterior grade plywood floors, not pressboard.
New standard features on 2005 Titan fifth wheels include a four-step entry to make it easy to enter and exit, a quick LP connection for an outside grill, 12-volt power front jacks, a one-piece fiberglass tub and shower, and a digitally controlled air conditioner unit.
Besides the new standard features, Titan is also offering a number of upgrade options, including a deluxe package that includes Corian countertops, fluorescent lighting, solid oak frames on cabinetry, and custom-painted graphics.
SunnyBrook RV offers 10 fifth wheel floor plans in the Titan series and also builds a variety of Titan travel trailers. The company also builds Mobile Scout travel trailers and fifth wheels.
SunnyBrook RV was founded in 1992 by a group of managers who had worked together at another trailer manufacturer. Frey said SunnyBrook RV started small, but has grown steadily, and its future is bright. The recent National RV Trade Show produced more interest and orders for the companys products than ever before, he said.
