Sea Breeze Introduces TeleSlide

National RV has created a telescoping slideout for some models of its Sea Breeze motorhomes, giving owners the option of extending the slideout part way when space is tight and much farther when there is room.

The new feature, called the TeleSlide, is the first of its kind in the industry, according to the manufacturer.

“The TeleSlide utilizes a dual-mechanism telescoping system, and essentially is a slide within a slide,” said John Millis, director of product planning. “It can be extended one or two stages, so you have more flexibility.”

The device is being utilized in the Sea Breeze to push the bedroom outward. When fully extended, the slide provides up to 10 more square feet of living space than other bed slide systems, according to the company. With the added slideout room, National RV has been able to incorporate a cedar-lined pullout chest at the foot of the bed to provide nearly four cubic feet of additional storage space.

The bedroom TeleSlide is an optional feature on three gasoline-fueled Sea Breeze models for 2007 and will be offered on additional 2008 models.
