Airstream Teams with Quiksilver
Airstream is partnering with Quiksilver, known for its surfer fashions, to create a Quiksilver Edition of its Bambi 16-foot trailer.

The Quiksilver Edition (QSE) Bambi, with the familiar Airstream sleek aluminum design, incorporates the Quiksilver insignia badge and special fixtures and lighting. The model has a “surf-inspired” interior in blue, white and silver, and contains storage for surfboards and sporting gear. An exterior awning creates a shady spot from which to watch the sunset. Tim Champ, Airstream director of marketing and brand development, said Airstream has been seeking to extend its reach through co-branding. “We felt Quiksilver was a perfect partner for cross-over marketing,” he said. “Together we’re creating interest in travel trailers for a new generation. The QSE Bambi is a mobile, gear-ready, virtual beach cottage.” For more information, visit www.airstream.com or call (937) 596-6111.

Pacbrake Offers New Exhaust Brake
Pacbrake’s new PRXB exhaust brake is an innovative pressure-release exhaust brake engineered to provide safer braking for diesel motorhomes and trucks. The brakes automatically adjust for lower RPM to help in both city traffic and downhill grades.

Henderson’s Line-Up, Brake and RV, which installs the PRXB, reports that it has seen an increasing number of problems with overworked brake systems on motorhomes because RV owners are towing heavier vehicles. The PRXB solves the problem with a product that is more efficient than standard exhaust brakes, Henderson’s says.

One advantage of the PRXB is that its retarding power puts less stress on brakes when going down steep slopes, reducing the number of brake relines needed over the life of the vehicle. In addition, Pacbrake is offering a direct trade out brake option that reuses existing wires and clamps, saving the customer money. For information, contact Pacbrake at (800) 663-0096 or see www.pacbrake.com. Henderson’s Line-Up, Brake and RV is at 417 SW Henderson Lane, Grants Pass Oregon. Phone (800) 245-8309.

The caps, which are available in yellow, blue and red, detach after installation and can be reattached to remove, reinstall or adjust the tension of the clamp. The twist caps are made of durable injection-molded thermoplastic. For information, contact Ideal at (800) 221-0100 or see www.tomkins.co.uk.

BD Diesel Raises Power
BD Diesel Performance has developed an X-Power Ram performance module for Dodge 5.9L diesel engines, including the 600 series, in the 2003 model year and later. The manufacturer says the module achieves performance gains of up to 130 horsepower and 240 lbs.ft. of torque by altering the duration timing of the injection pulse, instead of increasing the rail pressure, which has been known to cause fuel leakage and damage. Prices start at $579. For information, call (800) 887-5030 or see www.bddieselperformance.com.
