Clima Cover Protects Awnings from Wind Damage
ClimaCover has developed a new system to stabilize awnings on RVs, reducing the risk of damage from high winds. A long, narrow vinyl-coated stabilizer is attached to the length of the awning and then filled with water to hold the awning in place.

The water anchor can be attached to the awning’s screen room groove by an s-hook or slide-in method. It also can be attached by a series of hooks and clips. Once the anchor is filled with water, it pulls the awning tight, minimizing movement.

ClimaCover water anchors can also be attached to tarps to keep them in place. They come in lengths of 8 to 12 feet and carry suggested retail prices of $34.95 to $38.85. When not in use, the water anchors can be drained, rolled up and stored. For more information, contact ClimaCover, P. O. Box 443, Milton, WA 98354. Phone (888) 848-3827, or visit www.climacover.com.

New Device Enhances Computer Sound

The Roadie is the latest in the company’s Audio Advantage Series of USB audio adapters for PC users seeking high-quality sound to listen to music, play computer games or watch DVDs. The Roadie is about the size of a pack of cigarettes and requires no external power supply. Computer system requirements include a USB port, CD-ROM drive and sufficient speaker system for playback.
