I attended the Seattle RV show and Boondocking seminar. Still trying to understand recharging of batteries. What I understand is that to recharge at a high rate I need to purchase a three phase battery charger 30 to 40 amp and a small generator. Is this correct.

Dennis,
A three phase or better yet a four stage charger in the 40 amp range (larger if you have a very large battery bank) is the most convenient way to go. While a large generator (3,000 - 4,000 watts) will power the charger, it is larger than you need just to charge the batteries.
